Extrusion
Profiles, rods and tubes from thermoplastics – produced continuously, sawn to length.
Extrusion
In extrusion the molten granulate is pushed through a die whose cross-section sets the profile. This yields round rods, squares, tubes and special profiles of consistent quality – endless or sawn to fixed length.
For special profiles we make the die from your drawing. Above a certain quantity that is usually cheaper than machining from solid – we work out both routes for you.
Tolerances, maximum dimensions and batch sizes are confirmed with the quotation.
Suitable materials
PE-HD, PE 1000, PP, POM, PA 6, rigid PVC, PET; further thermoplastics on request.
