Drive technology transmits motion and force from the motor to the machine. Besides classic steel elements, parts made of engineering plastics are gaining ground: gears and sprockets of POM or PA run quietly, often need no lubrication and are lighter than metal.
Torque, speed, operating temperature and environment – moisture, food contact or dirt – decide the choice. We advise on the material and make drive elements to drawing.
