Rotationally symmetric parts from plastic round rods: bushings, shafts, rollers, discs and threaded parts.
CNC turning
From round rods and tubes we turn parts with shoulders, bores, threads and grooves. Typical are bearing bushings, guide rollers, spacers and seal carriers – as one-offs or in series.
Plastic rods are annealed to relieve stress, yet the material still moves during machining. We turn in stages, let the part cool and measure before finishing – so even a long bushing keeps its dimension.
Tolerances, maximum dimensions and batch sizes are confirmed with the quotation.
Suitable materials
POM-C, PA 6 and PA 6.6, PE-HD, PE 1000, PTFE, PEEK, PVDF, PP, laminated fabric; aluminium on request.
