Teflon rods manufactured by us by extrusion and pressing PTFE from diameter 5 mm – 1000 mm in natural (white) consistently exhibit the white (virgin) colour typical of PTFE. Processing of our PTFE semi-finished products cut to size
PTFE is an engineering high-performance plastic and is generally further processed into finished products by CO2 lasers, cutting, sawing, CNC turning, CNC milling, etching. The PTFE sheets can be machined very easily by chip-removing processes such as sawing, grinding, drilling or milling, without the need for special tools. Normal tools for woodworking can be used to saw these sheets. For creating holes, a commercially available cordless screwdriver is sufficient. Please use drills for metalworking for this.
The production of turned parts from PTFE-TEFLON® plastic is likewise very unproblematic. Please note that we can also produce turned parts from PTFE for you according to your design drawing, because we have state-of-the-art 3-axis and 5-axis CNC lathes for machining your technical parts up to a size of 5-400 mm.
