Polyethylene (PE)
PE 300, also known as PE-HD, is a high-density polyethylene. Thanks to its good chemical resistance, PE 300 is unaffected by attack from most acids, alkalis, many organic solvents and hot water. The material is a good insulator, can be machined extremely well and is used in numerous areas of application, particularly in chemical apparatus and tank construction.
Properties of PE plastic:
