How does waterjet cutting work?
In waterjet cutting, a high-pressure jet of pure water or water mixed with abrasive media is used to cut materials precisely. With a pressure of up to 6,000 bar, the waterjet cuts even the hardest plastics without material distortion or burns such as can occur with thermal processes. This makes the method ideal for temperature-sensitive materials and ensures consistently high cutting quality.
