Bayblend
Bayblend is a PC+ABS blend that combines the advantages of polycarbonate (PC) and acrylonitrile/butadiene/styrene (ABS). It offers excellent low-temperature impact strength and tough fracture behaviour, even at -30 °C. The polymer blend is characterised by impact strength, heat resistance, a high-quality surface, and high rigidity and hardness.
It is mainly used for housing technology in electronic devices and can be reinforced with 20% short glass fibres for particularly demanding components, resulting in an optimal combination of rigidity and impact strength.
