Water transfer printing
Water transfer printing is a fascinating process that is carried out in 9 steps to coat surfaces with various designs. The pattern is transferred from a carrier film to the workpiece, with the pressure of the water surface playing a decisive role.
This technique makes it possible to coat a wide variety of three-dimensional parts, and even complex shapes are no obstacle. For flat parts, the design is transferred with less distortion. Interestingly, the colour and surface structure of the base material integrate into the design. They remain partly visible and should therefore already be of high-quality finish.
