technical drawing

Technical drawings play a decisive role in communicating information about the form, structure and function of various artefacts such as plastic parts, assemblies and complex systems. They are the backbone of the fields of engineering, manufacturing and design.

In practice, they serve to provide precise and detailed representations that make it possible to understand, analyse and produce a product. These drawings can be divided into various categories, depending on their content and their intended use. Sketches often provide an initial insight or a rough idea of a product, while detail drawings depict specific components or assemblies in detail.

Group drawings show the interaction of several components or assemblies within a system, while general arrangement drawings provide a comprehensive representation of the entire product or system.
