Injection compression moulding
Injection compression moulding, a fascinating method in the field of injection moulding, is a special process with some interesting steps. First, the molten plastic mass is injected into a mould that is not completely closed.
This half-open mould allows the plastic melt not to fill the entire mould. This leaves room for further adjustments. Only when the compression gap of the tool is closed is the cavity completely filled. This step requires precise control and timing to ensure that the shaping is optimal and the end product has the desired properties.
