Molykote
Molykote, a product with a long history, was first introduced in the 1940s under the trade name by Dow Corning. It is a dry lubricant based on molybdenum disulfide (MoS2). Since its introduction, it has developed into a significant component of many industrial applications.
The formula, which relies on the unique properties of MoS2, has proven to be extremely effective at reducing friction and wear, which in turn extends the service life of machines and mechanisms. Thanks to its versatile applicability, Molykote has established itself as an indispensable lubricant in a wide range of industries, from the automotive industry through to aerospace engineering.
