Conductivity
A material's conductivity is its ability to conduct electrical current. Metals are at the top here and are often regarded as first-class conductors, with nickel and copper standing out in particular. Silver even has the highest electrical conductivity of all metals. In contrast, plastics are generally rather poor conductors, which means that they do not let electrical current pass through as efficiently as metals.
