Lost-core process
The lost-core moulding process, also known as the core-pulling process, represents a highly specialised method within the field of plastic injection moulding. This is an advanced technique that is used in various branches of industry, including automotive, electronics and medical technology.
In this process, the shaping of the plastic part is not only achieved by injecting molten material into a mould, but it also involves the precise insertion of a core into the mould in order to create a cavity structure or complex internal geometries.
