Cavity
A cavity is a hollow space located between the mould and the core of a mould. These cavities are strategically placed to receive the casting material and to define the desired shape of the cast object. Through the precise design of the cavity, complex details and structures can be transferred into the cast material, whereby high-quality and accurate castings can be produced.
These cavities are essential for the casting process, as they form the basis for the production of various components and products, whether in metallurgy, plastics processing or other manufacturing industries.
