One-off production

Single-piece production represents a manufacturing type that focuses on the individual production of customised single pieces. In this production method, products are manufactured on the basis of specific orders, whereby each piece can be unique. In contrast to mass production, in which standardised articles are manufactured in large quantities, in single-piece production every order is treated individually.

This enables a high degree of flexibility with regard to design, materials and product features, since each piece corresponds to the specific requirements and wishes of the customer. Single-piece production is therefore particularly suitable for products that require a high degree of customisability or for markets with low demand for certain products.
