Process materials
Process materials are materials that develop their characteristic properties during the manufacturing process of a workpiece. These materials can consist of plastics and only acquire their final material characteristics through physical or chemical processes during the manufacture of the workpiece.
During this process, they take on specific shapes and can change in their strength, flexibility, hardness or other properties in order to meet the requirements of the finished product. In a way, process materials are therefore like rough diamonds that unfold their full potential during the grinding process and become valuable gemstones.
