Needle embossing
Needle embossing is a highly specialised method of embossing in which a fine, oscillating carbide needle is guided precisely over the surface of a plastic material. This movement takes place under precise control by coordinate guidance. The needle serves as the actual tool for the embossing process.
This process produces fascinating embossed patterns that are composed of a large number of individual dots. These dots can be placed so closely together that they gradually form fine lines. The precision of this process enables exceptionally detailed design of surface structures and patterns.
