Integral foam
Integral foam is a lightweight, stable foam that is produced through chemical processes. It is characterised by a cellular core surrounded by a denser outer skin. This structure enables high strength at the points under load.
Polyurethanes are typically used, with the density range lying between 0.3 and 0.7 g/cm³. Thanks to integral foam, large moulded parts weighing up to 50 kg can be produced.
