Hot air forming
Hot-air forming is a variant of thermal forming in which thermoplastics are softened by heat and become malleable. It is used for folding, bending, dent removal, riveting and other finishing work on plastic parts. Thermoforming is the most mature process for the thermal forming of plastics, with heating stations that can consist of radiant heaters, fan heaters or manually operated heat guns.
