Internal gas pressure technology
Gas internal pressure technology (GID) is a variant of injection moulding, specifically for hollow parts such as closed tubes or simple shapes such as handles. In the process, the mould is first filled with plastic. Gas then pushes the melt out of the thicker areas into a secondary cavity.
