Fine layer
Gelcoat, also known as gelcoat, forms the top protective layer on a moulded part made of glass-fibre-reinforced plastic (GRP). Unlike the layers beneath it, it contains no glass fibres and is therefore crucial for the aesthetic quality and protection of the GRP part.
