EPDM, short for ethylene propylene diene rubber, is an elastomer that is popular for seals and elastic components in mechanical engineering due to its high weather and temperature resistance. It is a terpolymer and can be either thermoset or thermoplastic, depending on the composition, such as PP/EPDM.
