Cyclo-olefin copolymer
Cyclo-olefin copolymer (COC) is an amorphous polyolefin produced from olefins with a cyclohexene ring and ethene. Unlike semi-crystalline polyolefins such as polyethylene and polypropylene, COCs are transparent.
They exhibit excellent biocompatibility, blood compatibility and low water absorption. TOPAS is a well-known trade name for cyclo-olefin copolymers.
