COC
COC (cyclo-olefin copolymers) are transparent polymer materials that are produced from cyclohexene and ethene. They are amorphous and differ from semi-crystalline polyolefins such as polyethylene and polypropylene.
COCs exhibit excellent biocompatibility, blood compatibility and very low water absorption. A well-known trade name for cyclo-olefin copolymers is TOPAS.
