Carbon black

Carbon black, also known as colour black, is a frequently used black pigment. It is used in various products such as printing inks, inks, paints, cosmetics, tattoo inks and plastics. Although black is not actually a colour, the term colour black has become established in the German-speaking world, while in English it is aptly referred to as carbon black.
