Food-contact articles under the LFGB comprise various materials and objects intended for contact with food, cosmetic products, mucous membranes, personal care, toys, clothing, cleaning agents and odour improvement. They also include waterproofing agents, but are not to be equated with medicinal products, medical devices or biocidal products under the relevant legislation.
