Reinforcement
Reinforcement strengthens materials or objects with mechanically more resistant components. Plastic materials are often reinforced with glass fibres, carbon fibres and minerals. Plastic parts are reinforced by joining them with stronger components made from high-strength plastics, metals or other materials, e.g. by moulding in, screwing, bonding, welding or clipping.
