Application temperature
Plastics have a specific temperature range within which they can be used. This range is defined by minimum and maximum application temperatures.
Minimum application temperature: Low temperatures impair the mobility of the molecular chains in the plastic, which leads to a loss of toughness and brittleness. It is recommended not to stress the material below this minimum application temperature unless there is no impact load.
