Acrylonitrile/styrene/acrylate
Acrylonitrile/styrene/acrylate (ASA) is an impact-resistant copolymer with properties similar to ABS, but with better weather resistance. ASA consists of a styrene-acrylonitrile polymer (SAN) in which the acrylate is evenly distributed and bonded by grafted SAN chains. It forms high-quality, matt-gloss and scratch-resistant surfaces, is resistant to aqueous chemicals and is mainly used for housing technology, such as cladding, control panels and outdoor housings.
